The course highlights common injuries to the shoulder, elbow and hand sustained within a school sporting environment. Through learning key anatomical structures and how patients present, you will be able to safely manage injuries from fractures to dislocations. The upper limb course will be carried out over 3 modules including the shoulder, elbow and hand. It will cover the main anatomy and procedures for effective assessment of presenting injuries to the upper limb. Alongside this, it will highlight key findings which may suggest more serious injuries such as neck or neurological injuries which may also be present.
