Why Modus Education?

The Gold Standard

Modus Education has been delivering sports injury courses for over 7-years. Based within the school system at Wellington College, Berkshire, and within local sports academies, Modus understands the demands placed onto medical and non-medical staff expected to manage sporting injuries and ensure the welfare of children.

Through working within such environments, Modus realises that often staff have never had appropriate training to deal with common, and often serious injuries, feeling vulnerable and afraid of making the wrong decisions. As a result, Modus Education designed the only adolescent, specific sports injury course in the UK, delivering key skills and knowledge for those working within adolescent sport.

Formulated by physiotherapists and sports physicians working within the sporting field, each course teaches staff how to assess, diagnose and manage sporting injuries commonly sustained by adolescents in both the school and club environment. It is also the only course of its kind endorsed by the Medical Officers of School Association (MOSA).

Flexible Training

With both online and face to face courses now available, individuals can receive the level of teaching support that best suits their needs and budget. Completion of each course requires the pass of an exam, for which a certificate of completion is attained and can be used as proof of CPD.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions, or if you have a specific request with regards to teaching any of your staff. We are always happy to construct tailor made courses to ensure schools get the teaching they require.
